This was the first snowy Christmas here since a while (if I’m not wrong, since 1985). It is more common that we have some snow before Christmas and afterwards, in January/February.
It was also exceptionally cold yesterday, we had -15°C, i.e. 5°F. Which is a record since 1962 or something like that ;-)
We had a cool lunch at JYS (Chef: Jean-Yves Schillinger, 1* Michelin) in Colmar, which is really a very nice town during this Christmas time. I had specially a super entree, 3 eggs with a simple potatoes’ puree for strengthening the flavor of the truffle :-)

Yes, already 3 years that we have founded Innoveo!
That was such a dense period, with so many experiences, wow.
As we are now used to, we have celebrated this special day with a good lunch near Zurich. Very good time indeed :-)

After Saint Tropez, the Porquerolles Island and our Bed & Breakfast location, let’s have a look at the fantastic village of Bormes les Mimosas. This was really a great day, worth a visit if you are near this place.
We have positively experienced our first Bed & Breakfast at Hyères, at La Buanderie. Nice place with nice people, very comfortable, great garden with old big trees. Really cool!
I have forgotten to continue to publish my portfolio about our trip to Hyères, south-east of France in the Provence region, trip we have done mid of April 2010… So after the first pictures in … June about Saint Tropez, some views of the Porquerolles Island we have visited by bicycles.
Quick “hello” from Combrit Saint Marine in Brittany.
We are finished with our “stroll week”. Each day about 6-8 hours on foot, a looonnngggg time we haven’t done that ;-) Fantastic landscape, varying a lot each day, as the weather!
That’s a real break, different from St Barth, but still a cool break. Today, first time with a kind of real Internet connection ;-)
As I didn’t want to transport my 3+ kg Canon EOS 5D MarkII with its lens during the 6+ hours walk per day, I have bought a Canon S90, just before going on holiday. As a Canon-fan, I had mainly the choice between a G11 or a S90, both with almost the same technical and optical characteristics, excepted that the G11 is still quite big. Some pictures below (RAW + DxO post-prod, but with a small netbook ;-). More on the Canon S90 later. But generally speaking I’m super happy with it!
Now, back to the “big one”!
…was as usual a great time and breathing for Manu (old mate and Boomerang Owner & CEO) and myself. The Phil Collins concert was not soooo great. The band was cool (specially the bass player), Phil Collins very … uhm … not cool (was he sick?). I’m not a Motown specialist, but some choices for the covers were quite “odd/bizarre”, to be honest. Kind of The Love Boat series…

Let’s start the visit with Saint-Tropez. We were actually positively surprised by this city. Quite nice, a kind of link with Saint Barth. Important to mention that it was not high-season yet ;-)
