Off for two weeks, pfffuuu

Wow, we are off during 2 weeks, back to Corsica again this year (it seems that we are not the only one having this idea ;-).

Very happy to be able to rest a bit, the last weeks were exciting but also very time- and energy-consuming at Innoveo… Growth (> 50% this year if we continue…) is always seen as a kind of “luxury problem”, which is true. But still complicated ;-) New colleagues were integrated, some were leaving, and still some new ones to be integrated in the coming weeks and months! As usual in such kind of development phase, the biggest challenge is to keep our identity.

Among others, I’m very proud that we could start our first international project (in Dubai). And good opportunities that can emerge before end of this year in other countries.

Thanks to all at Innoveo for your support and BIG commitment in the last months, it is so essential for me…

First the north of Corsica, near Saint Florent at Oletta.

And then, Palombaggia and its famous beach.

Saint Barth Summer 2011 – Day 0

Wow this time I really had a hard time to close everything on the business side :-) I have to wake up in 3.5 hours to start our (long) trip to Saint Barth. Tropical storm Emily will make the stuff more interesting, let’s see…

Will post regularly some pictures for sure.

Super excited to be able to go there again this year with my wife and son. We just need this strong get-together :-) Really had also to rest physically, just too many hours in the last months. Exciting stuff, but still exhausted…

Take care and see you on the other side!

Provence, Baux-de-Provence, Saint Rémy, …

We could have some days off end of April at Les Baux-de-Provence in South-East of France / Provence. A real nice stay actually! I finally invest the time to post-produce my photos. This time, no big equipment, just my little Canon S90 and DxO…

Ousteau de Baumanière

Ousteau de Baumanière, an excellent hotel, perfectly positioned near les Baux-de-Provence, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (which is much nicer than les Baux, too much touristic and artificial for our taste), les Alpilles, Avignon, etc. Service was really great, as the room we had. Two restaurants in the hotel, both worth a visit ;-) L’Ousteau itself which is a 2* Michelin, absolutely fantastic, and la Cabro d’Or, a 1* Michelin, which is also very interesting. We had there a “vertical” degustation menu with 10 dishes all based on different excellent local olive oils, including the dessert!

Olive groves

This region is a kind of paradise for people (like me) that likes olive oils. A lot of small producers, so many different tastes, pure happiness!

Saint Barth 2012 booked!

Yes yes yes, it is already time to think about Saint Barth 2012 ;-) Our reservations are done for the flights, villa and car, as usual beginning of June. Actually, the only way to have a chance to get *the* villa which is attracting us!

So for next winter, we have chosen a very modern villa. A quite uncommon one in Saint Barth, as we will have a direct access to a beach, Petit Cul de Sac. One of the few villas there with a beach access.

Have a look!

Already excited now :-)
