NEWS: Google first financial results

Google published its first quarterly financial results (3rd quarter ’04) on October 21, 2004 (quarterly values):

  • revenues: $805.9 million, up 105% year over year

  • Google-sites revenue: $411.7 million, 51% of the total revenue

  • adjusted EBITDA: $321 million

  • net income: $52 million, 6.5% of revenues

  • 2’668 full-time employees

    • For the first 9 months of 2004:

  • revenues: $2.16 billion

  • net income: $195 million
