  1. As you’ll install Linux, I’ll translate the list for you :)
    * OpenOffice, or LibreOffice
    * Nothing, that’s only needed on Windows
    * Dropbox (nautilus-dropbox)
    * Clonezilla (?) (Not quite, but I’m not 100% what this does anyway, rsync might be enough)
    * VLC or Mplayer or Totem have their own codecs
    * Hum… there is nothing (afaik) similar yet :(
    * Pidgin
    * Doubt there is a linux version
    * Gimp (might be enough)
    * wordnet
    * Really? I mean, seriously? :)
    * f-spot (?)
    * filezilla
    * ryhtmbox
    * chromium, firefox, for the others you’ll need Virtualbox and windows :)
    * emacs or gvim
    * skype
    * x-lite
    * I think that’s granted with gnome or kde
    * openvpn – configuration is done through the network widget
    * to write PDF? xpdf, evince, …
    * unzip, unrar, rest are granted

    And I won’t comment on the Mac, as I’ll get mine no sooner than next week.
