Some very interesting statistics here and here about blogs published by Sifri, CEO of Technorati.

  • More than 4 million blogs registered by Technorati, 3 millionth blog in July 2004.

  • 12’000 new blogs created each day, a new blog each 7.4 second

  • Average posting volume per day: 400’000 posts, or 4.6 post per second, 16’000 posts per hour
