Technorati reached yesterday its 3 millionth blog registered ;-) Quite impressive! Some statistics:

during an average weekday: 15’000 new weblogs created

about 45% of the more than 3 million blogs tracked were not updated in the last three months

on the other hand, more than 275’000 individuals post every day

median time from post till indexing in technorati: 7 minutes

Logic that Technorati has some infrastructure issues to solve ;-)
