One of our preferred strolls on the island, always varying.
This morning, the light was great, as the waves.
We’ve never seen so many goats and kid goats…
Beautiful!
First part about the stroll and landscape.
Wow, back to Colombier… In a sense, we have managed to forget how far this beach is just exceptional. We continued the stroll on the right (coming from Petite Anse), in the direction of “La Pointe à Colombier”, on the little hill dominating Colombier and Anse Paschal.
No question why Colombier is regularly ranked as one of the most beautiful beach!
Quite a intensive day. Morning stroll at Grand and Petit Cul de Sac, Saint Jean beach to recover, then very nice lunch at Do Brazil, and installation at our villa, this year in the heights of Vitet with a fantastic view on Grand Fond. And dinner at Coté Port with a bit of shopping at Gustavia as an aperitif.
Typical Saint Barth day, isn’t it? :-)
Arrived on the Island this afternoon, wow :-) Quite uneventful trip.
This morning in Paris with 2°C and some hours later, a swim at Saint Jean beach, that’s life! Nice views there (almost sunset) including the Pilatus near the Eden Rock. And the first Planteur to celebrate.
Simple dinner at Le Bouchon (very busy as usual) as we wanted to do it quickly and early (jet-lag). Had a nice Beef Carpaccio, parmesan and French fries, miam!
Experiencing now the first night rain shower.Sitting on the terrace with a Romeo & Julieta, good chocolate, and Leonard Cohen.
At home and HAPPY!
Wow, this year is very special, as we had to wait until the last “minute” to know if we can make it or not for Saint Barth (some business stuff to clarify ;-). Which is making our coming 2-weeks travel to SBH even more exciting!
This uncertainty during the last months (can we go? umh, sh… still have to wait a bit more) was actually interesting and we are so happy now to have the chance again to go “there”…
During our last trip in Saint Barth, I’ve taken a short HD video with my Canon S100 from the plane that brought us back from Saint Barth to Saint Martin.
Very nice moonlight yesterday evening on Lorient and Saint Jean!
We will miss this fantastic panoramic view on Lorient, Saint Jean, Anse des Cayes, Ile Bonhomme, Ile Frégate, Ile Pelé, Ile le Boulanger and Saint Martin.
One of the craziest view we ever had on the island….
And yes, we will fly back to France in a few hours…
What for a 2-weeks stay again…
Absolutely rested and full of energy, but sad to be at the end (even if we know that we were lucky to be able to be there again) of our holidays…
Hopefully we have enough reserve of Caribbean colors for some months :-)
Bye bye!
